Anger Management

Anger is a normal and usually healthy emotion. However, it can be out of control and we can lose control via angry outbursts.

Anger management with EMDR is not just a series of 'talk therapy' sessions where anger is merely talked about. Learning about having difficult or challenging conversations in a clinical setting might sound good, however, as soon as you face a trigger in a real life you revert to old habits, behaviours and feel anger and rage simmering just under the surface. Anger management with EMDR is about learning how to calm yourself down (emotional regulation) and not getting triggered in difficult or challenging situations.

EMDR is an effective method with EMDR-based protocols your emotional memories that have not been resolved and integrated are processed and the previous triggers will not have the power to make you angry.
