About us

A psychologist in Adelaide CBD; Khodadad is an EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) Accredited Consultant and provides clinical psychology services to adults. Khodadad is an EMDR Institute trained psychologist with Master Class (Intensive) level training. He is EMDR Therapy training facilitator. He provides supervision to psychologists and other mental health practitioners who are working towards completing basic training and accredited practitioner’s applications. Khodadad has taken up a range of opportunities to learn the application of EMDR protocols directly from EMDR Institute faculty members and leaders in the field.

Therapy Work

EMDR therapy is based on the Adaptive Information Processing model (AIP). We naturally process and resolve upsetting or incongruous events into memories without holding negative perception, emotions or physical sensations of those events. It is about “here and now”. It happened to me, I have learned from it and I am living in the present time; it is called adaptive resolution.
